Farm Hand

Join the Fungi Jon team as a Farm Hand to help produce gourmet & medicinal mushroom abundance with potential to be involved in a number of specialized positions on our indoor farm. Tasks include (but not limited to) cleaning, organizing, mushroom media preparation, harvesting, trimming, order fulfillment and more.

Position Info:

• $15/hr ($12/hr 1 month training period)
• Full-time preferred - 30-40+ hours per week
• Preparation of substrate growing medium
• Harvesting mushrooms
• Cleaning and organizing mushroom grow environments
• Fulfilling customer orders and arranging fresh mushrooms to our high quality standards
• Potential to expand into specialized positions such as delivery driver, sales manager, marketing coordinator, administrative assistant, farmers market representative, and more.

Requirements:

• Minimum 9 month commitment to position
• Has a working smartphone with data
• Is on time and consistently reliable
• Has good communication skills
• Has a positive, upbeat attitude
• Has good problem-solving skills
• Friendly and professional with crew
• Has genuine interest and passion for our product
• Detail oriented, thorough, quick learner
• Intrinsically motivated to excel and do a great job every day
• Desires personal growth and values honesty and responsibility
• Able to lift 50 lbs and remain standing for several hours
• No prior experience with mycology or mushrooms necessary, but passion and some level of prior understanding about mushrooms preferred

Delivery Driver

Join the Fungi Jon team as a Delivery Driver to help spread our beautiful gourmet & medicinal mushrooms throughout the state. Tasks include (but not limited to) driving, sales, and cleaning. There is potential for part-time farm hand duties like harvesting, packing orders, and cleaning as needed. We're looking for someone to grow with us as a dedicated, long-term, team member.

Position Info:

• $17/hr ($14/hr 1 month training period)
• Part-time to begin - 20-30 hours per week, with room to grow as we expand
• Delivery of fresh mushrooms to our clientele
• Delivery van cleaning and organization
• In-person sales and demos

Requirements:

• Minimum 9 month commitment to position
• Clean driving record
• Has a working smartphone with data
• Is on time and consistently reliable
• Has good communication skills
• Has a positive, upbeat attitude
• Has good problem-solving skills
• Friendly and professional with customers and crew
• Has genuine interest and passion for our product

• Maintains a positive, upbeat attitude
• Friendly and professional with customers and crew

Marketing Coordinator

Join the Fungi Jon team as a Marketing Coordinator to spread the word about our beautiful gourmet & medicinal mushrooms. Tasks include (but not limited to) email communication, executing marketing plans, photography, newsletter design, web design, social media management, market events, and in-person demos. Potential for part-time farm hand duties as needed, such as harvesting, packing orders, and cleaning. We're looking for someone to grow with us as a dedicated, long-term, team member.

Position Info:

• $18/hr ($15/hr 1 month training period)
• Part-time - 20-30 hours per week (full time also possible)
• Works closely with management to plan & create marketing content
• Responds promptly and professionally to all customer messages
• Takes professional photographs for promotional material
• Maintains consistent brand image across all social media platforms
• Demos at markets and special events
• Updates company website as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 9 month commitment to position
• Experience working in a related field
• Experience working in customer service and communication
• Graphic design experience preferred
• Knowledge of Mailchimp, Shopify, GSuite, and Adobe Illustrator preferred
• Basic knowledge of coding preferred
