Cultivation Associate

Join the Fungi Jon team as a Cultivation Associate to help produce gourmet & medicinal mushroom abundance with potential to be involved in a number of specialized positions on our indoor farm. Tasks include (but not limited to) cleaning, organizing, mushroom media preparation, harvesting, lab work, order fulfillment and more.

Position Info:

• Starting pay $15/hr
• Full-time and part-time available (full-time preferred)
• Harvesting, sorting, grading, and packaging fresh mushrooms to our high quality standards
• Cleaning and organizing mushroom grow environments and production areas
• Production of mushroom grow blocks
• Potential to expand into specialized positions through base knowledge acquired in the position; ideal starting point to master foundational concepts of mycology and mushroom cultivation.

Farmers Market Representative

Join the team to represent the Fungi at farmers markets in Saint Petersburg, FL and/or Winter Park, FL! See below for position info & requirements.

Position Info:

• Starting pay $15/hr
• Saturday scheduling  - rain or shine
• Part time - 8-12 hours per week to begin (more hours/days possible on our farm in Saint Cloud)

Requirements:

• Must have a working smartphone with data

• Must be on time and punctual - good time management skills
• Must have good communication skills
• Maintains a positive, upbeat attitude
• Friendly and professional with customers and crew

Join the Fungi Jon team as a Delivery Driver to help spread our beautiful gourmet & medicinal mushrooms throughout the state. Tasks include (but not limited to) driving, sales, and cleaning. There is potential for part-time farm hand duties like harvesting, packing orders, and cleaning as needed. We're looking for someone to grow with us as a dedicated, long-term, team member.

Position Info:

• Starting pay $17/hr
• Part-time to begin - 20-30 hours per week, with room to grow
• Delivery of fresh mushrooms to our clientele
• Delivery van cleaning and organization
• In-person sales and demos

Requirements:

Sales & Operations Coordinator

Join the Fungi Jon team as a Sales & Operations Coordinator to maintain customer relations, oversee wholesale and retail orders, and expand the Fungi Jon network. Tasks include (but not limited to) wholesale and online order coordination, farmers market representation, email and phone communication with staff and customers, in-person sales meeting and demos, lead generation, and driving to and from customers. Some farm hand duties may be required as needed, such as harvesting. We're looking for someone to grow with us as a dedicated, long-term, team member.

Position Info:

• Starting pay $18/hr
• Full-time, 30-40 hours per week
• General operations flow oversight and inventory control
• Wholesale and online order coordination
• Demos product at markets and special events
• Creates wholesale order sheets 
• Responds promptly and professionally to all customer orders and inquiries
• Presents products in a down-to-earth, friendly, and professional manner
• Actively searches for and approaches new customers
• Directs staff with clear communication

Requirements:

• Previous chef or sous chef experience preferred
• Knowledge of GSuite software preferred

• Part-time to begin - 10-20 hours per week
• Works closely with the team to plan & create marketing content
• Responds promptly and professionally to all customer emails
• Takes professional photographs for promotional material
• Maintains consistent brand image across all social media platforms
• Demos product at markets and special events
• Updates company website as needed

Requirements:

• Experience working in customer service and communication
• Graphic design experience preferred
